M Zriny jewelry is featured in the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Shop and we are thrilled to be able to offer these unique pieces during this event! "

Walk into Melissa’s Santa Fe design studio and you will find still lifes of found and treasured objects; worn river rocks, bowls of beach glass, shell fragments, raw gemstones and her grandmother’s filigree earrings – all objects that inspire and inform Melissa’s designs.

Her jewelry line m zriny designs reflects that passion for finding beauty and subtlety in the details. With this very personal collection she blends organic influences with a refined edge and modern elegance – mixing semi-precious stones, symbolic charms, sterling silver and gold into jewelry pieces that are meaningful, intimate and enduring.

Her love of jewelry design and metalsmithing began at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. RISD emphasized an intense study of jewelry design and technique and stressed the importance of understanding color, form, structure, proportion and the entire creative process.

She moved to New York City refining that creative process and vision at Vogue Magazine as associate accessories editor. After returning to design her expansive career has included designing, marketing and merchandising collections for Bendels, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale's, Avon, Liz Claiborne, Peyote Bird Designs, Silpada Designs and other major companies and retailers.

Melissa brings her exacting professionalism, refined design aesthetic and passion to all of her creative endeavors.
